Backstep is a movement skill that increases distance between the player and target. The user resists damage and status effects during the animation. It can be used by pressingtwice in rapid succession.
Different classes have specific versions of this skill that may be customized with talents and other skills:
- Assassin
- Blade Dancer
- Blade Master
- Destroyer
- Force Master
- Gunslinger
- Kung Fu Master
- Soul Fighter
- Summoner
- Warden
- Warlock
Tips[ | ]
- Backstep is useful for both PvE and PvP by creating distance to avoid being stunlocked and comboed, or to enable ranged skills.
- In high-tier pvp, the opponent can followup a Backstep use by chasing with Approach skills.
